The creation of a European Digital Innovation Hub in the construction sector was approved by the EC in June this year and the implementation contract was signed in October. The hub will support the transition to digitalisation through access to digital solutions, training and capacity building, work to introduce new technologies in construction and provide training on their implementation. Over the next 3 years, businesses will have access to expensive technologies and innovations and will be able to test them before investing in them.
The hub will provide training on working with BIM and GIS systems, artificial intelligence information, experimental facilities, etc. Its creation is of great importance for the future of the entire construction industry in Bulgaria, which is embarking on the path of digital transition. The result will be increased competitiveness and productivity of companies in the industry, as well as higher efficiency of the entire construction and investment process.
The defense before the European Commission and the winning of the project is a huge success for the industry, which despite the difficulties of the last two years continues to work with a vision for its future, believes the Chairman of the Board of the BCC Eng. Ilian Terziev.
