The Rector of the Higher School of Civil Engineering “Lyuben Karavelov” (VSU) Assoc. prof PhD eng. Anita Khandruleva was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Digital Innovation Hub in the Construction Sector. At its meeting on 23 August, the General Assembly of the EDIH unanimously supported her to represent VSU in the Board. She replaces Assoc. prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov, who is stepping down from the board for personal reasons.
VSU is one of the founders of the Association “European Digital Innovation Hub in the Construction Sector”, which has set itself the ambitious task of preparing for the digital transition all parties involved in the construction and investment process. The initiator and coordinator is the Bulgarian Construction Chamber, in partnership with the Bulgarian Chamber of Architects (CAB), the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), the Institute of Mechanics – BAS, Cleantech Bulgaria Ltd, Planex Ltd, Geostroy AD, the Bulgarian Project Management Association, Baumit Bulgaria Ltd and ESRI Bulgaria Ltd.
