The course “Energy Efficiency under the ETICS System for Advanced Students” of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the construction sector will be held at the Baumit Bulgaria Vocational Training Center in Elin Pelin from November 6 to 8. The training is face-to-face, and its main goal is to familiarize with the technology and how to work with integrated thermal insulation systems (ETICS). The course corresponds to the other trainings in the program, thus creating a learning cycle covering the principles of healthy living.
Participants must have experience in the integration of thermal insulation systems. The training for working with ETICS is aimed at professionals in the field of architecture, engineering and construction such as architects, engineers, team managers and lead designers, as well as technicians from construction and supervision companies. A previously issued medical certificate for work at height is required and instruction for working from scaffolding is provided.
The lecturers in the course are specialists with proven experience in working with them. The theoretical focus is related to the relevant regulatory framework, to the inspection and preparation of the base, to the different types of systems, to the influence of weather conditions on the quality of laying, to the errors that are made in the laying process, and to the subsequent quality control. The practical classes are about the inspection and preparation of the base, the use of components and accessories, the sequence of laying, the laying of integrated thermal insulation systems on different bases, the influence of weather conditions on the quality of laying and to the quality control. The practical trainings will be carried out with real building materials.
