Project Description
The EDICS project aims to stimulate the adoption of advanced digital technologies in the construction sector in Bulgaria by providing specialised services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the public sector and society that are tailored to the needs and challenges in the field of green transformation, while acting as a link to the established network of European Digital Innovation Hubs and the large set of digitisation services at European scale.

Project management and coordination
Manage the overall European Digital Innovation Hub for Construction project in a way that ensures that the objectives set will be effectively and timely implemented and that the financial resources provided will be used efficiently and in a timely manner.
- The intermediate and final results achieved as well as the ongoing work of the project will be reported in a timely manner and the quality of the results will be monitored. If necessary, corrective measures will be taken during implementation.
- Signing of a consortium agreement between the project partners.
- Develop and follow a communication and work strategy for project implementation.
- Coordination of activities with the EC.
- Project management ensuring high quality implementation.
- Effective strategic and day-to-day financial management and monitoring of the quality of implementation.
- Management of new knowledge generated within the project.
- Develop and follow methods for reporting and monitoring progress and quality assurance.
- Manage financial, legal, administrative and technical risks during project implementation.
- Developing a data management policy and coordinating the curation of research data throughout the project.
- Identification of quality control procedure for project implementation.
- Management of ethical issues

Methodologies and assessments for digital capacity and digital maturity
Create and manage a questionnaire to obtain information on the digital maturity status of the companies and organizations involved in the project work and outcomes to increase cyfo capacity and digital maturity.
- Design and adapt the digital capacity and digital maturity questionnaire framework.
- Carry out an assessment on digital capacity and digital maturity of SMEs and the public sector.
- Establishing a price list for EDIH in construction and its service offerings.
- State aid/’de minimis’ management for SMEs.
Technology, data and skills service
Involve and work with all project partners to offer all the types of training services that ECIH in Construction will offer – data services, technology services and skills services.

- Technology services – testing of construction materials for data collection and analysis purposes – data modelling and simulations; developing use cases for BIM (SIM) and BIM (SIM) standards; access to real-time testing of innovative solutions; provision of GIS services – geo-design technologies, geospatial IoT services, spatial image analytics; provision of BIM (SIM) modelling services for architects; provision of robotics services; virtual reality services for construction activitydelivery and testing of services for conservation and restoration of immovable cultural heritage

IT infrastructure and databases developed for data sharing and information exchange between suppliers and contracting authorities in public procurement
Organization and delivery of specialized trainings and workshops aimed at capacity building in the public and private sectors on topics related to the introduction of digital technologies in construction processes, including BIM, GIS, Autodesk, 4D, 5D, 6D and 7D modeling and applications, innovative technologies and new construction materials, construction acoustic measurements, ultrasonic testing methods, thermography, etc.
