BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT

“BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT ” (BACPM) is a non-profit legal entity established as a voluntary association of individuals and legal entities with interests in the field of project management in construction.

The main goals of BACPM are: To unite the efforts of the Bulgarian construction industry for the development of project management in construction in Bulgaria; Familiarization of the Bulgarian construction industry with the achievements of project management in construction in other countries; Improving the quality of education and vocational training in the field of project management in construction; Promotion of the activity, legislation and practice in the field of project management in construction in other Member States of the European Union; Promotion of international standards in the field of project management in construction; Promotion, application and promotion of good practices in the field of project management in construction; Cooperation and membership in foreign organizations in the field of project management in construction; Introduction and popularization of the figure of the project manager among the participants in the investment and construction process in the current legislation.

To achieve its goals BACPM uses the following tools: Organizing public discussions, discussions, meetings, seminars and trainings related to the development of project management in construction; Creation of an information website and blog, providing an opportunity for exchange of information and comments in the field of project management in construction; Development of concepts, bills and standards in the field of project management in construction; Cooperation with organizations in the country and abroad that have similar goals and subject of activity.
