Representatives of various construction companies visited one of the most attractive training courses of the Association “European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the construction sector” – “Opportunities for the application of unmanned aerial vehicles in construction”. For three days, owners and employees of small and medium-sized companies, architects and designers had the opportunity to learn about the use of drones in the implementation of projects in various construction areas, and after completing it, they gave a high rating for the knowledge gained. The course was led by Eng. Yordan Hristev, Director of “Geodesy and Surveying” at Geostroy – a company co-founder of EDIH in the construction sector.

The European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) training course in the construction sector for the digitalization of document management in construction projects starts on November 13 and will continue until November 15. The specialized training, which will be held in the EDIH training rooms, offers knowledge and skills for applying the standards for legal requirements and document management standards in construction, as well as skills for working with digital applications for managing document flow, contracts and relations with contractors in construction, documentation for sites and properties, for quality management and compliance with various certification systems (e.g. ISO 9000, 14001, 45001, 27001, etc.) and internal audit in enterprises in the construction sector. The document digitization course is aimed at employees of SMEs involved in project management, consultancy and supervision activities or administrations – architects and engineers from design firms, technicians from municipalities, technicians from construction and supervision firms. Participants are required to have a vocational or higher education and experience in project management in construction.

The “Introduction to BIM” course of the European Digital Innovation Hub in Construction Association starts on September 30, 2024 and lasts 4 days – classes will be held on September 30 – October 1 and on October 8 – 9, in person in the EDIH training room. The next “Introduction to BIM” course is planned to be held in the period October 30-31, 2024 and November 7-8, 2024, and you can register for participation here.

One of the most attractive training courses of the Association “European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the Construction Sector”, which is related to the use of drones in the construction industry, starts on October 16, 2024. The theoretical part of the Geostroy course will be held in the EDIH training hall, and the practical part is in the field – at the metro station next to the “Obelya” railway station with the tunnel connection to the “Obelya” metro depot.
