The course “Introduction to the digitization of the construction and investment process in Bulgaria – level 2” will be held from September 18 to 20

From September 18 to 20, the course “Introduction to the digitalization of the construction and investment process in Bulgaria – level 2” will be held in the training hall of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the construction sector. Thus, after the successful completion at the beginning of August of the first level of the introduction to digitalization, the participants in EDIH trainings have the opportunity to upgrade their preparation for the digital transition in the construction-investment process.

EDIH’s introductory course in Building Information Modeling (BIM) starts on Sept 30

The “Introduction to BIM” course of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the construction sector will be held in our training room within 4 days – on September 30 – October 1 and on October 8 – 9. Training is present, and its main goal is to increase the qualification of construction specialists by acquiring skills to use building information modeling (BIM) in the investment process.

The EDIH course for innovative products will be held from 30.09 to 04.10

From 30.09 to 04.10, the course of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the Construction Sector for the use of innovative products will be held at the Vocational Training Center at Baumit Bulgaria in the town of Elin Pelin. The training is present and includes the acquisition of knowledge and skills for working with innovative products of one of the partners in ECIH Baumit Bulgaria, as the “Clima” and “Yonit” systems will be presented, which support the purification of air in the premises and the regulation of humidity. In this way, a healthier and more comfortable living and living environment is created.
The requirement for participants in the training is to have at least completed the tenth grade, a medical certificate and basic experience in construction activities such as plastering and painting. The course is intended for architects, engineers, employees of design firms, construction experts and workers from municipalities, construction and supervisory firms. These can be workers in small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction sector, in small companies with an average market capitalization, as well as in public sector organizations but for their non-economic activities.
Lecturers in training on innovative products are specialists with proven experience in working with them. The 5-day course includes the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the use of innovative products.
The theoretical orientation of the training is related to the relevant regulations, to the inspection and preparation of the base, to the different types of systems, to the influence of the conditions in the premises on the quality of laying, to the mistakes that are made in the laying process, and to the subsequent control of the quality. Hands-on activities are about checking and preparing the base, the use of components and accessories and the sequence of laying. These include learning the skills to apply plasters and paints on different substrates, to establish the influence of indoor conditions on the quality of the application and to control the same quality. Practical training will be carried out with the help of electric and hand tools and with real materials from production.
